For such a small town, Rico really has an active community life. Here are some additional community organizations in town that we'll be adding profiles for as we can:
|Rico Women's Club||The Rico Elementary School|
|Rico Historical Society||Montezuma Land Conservancy District|
If you have information or anecdotes you can send about any of these organizations, or want to tell me who I forgot, please call or email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks!
Did you know that National Geographic covered Rico in its March 2001 ZipUSA article? You can view part of the article, some interesting photos, and references to other relevant articles at http://www.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/0103/feature6/index.html. National Geographic certainly captured part of Rico's personality, but there's a lot more to us than that, wouldn't you say?
